Sue Fernando5 StarKate is an absolute gem! I started seeing her in my second trimester in my pregnancy in 2024, and I wish I had found her sooner and started with her from the very beginning. She played a crucial role in preparing me for childbirth and supporting me postpartum as a first time mom.
Her knowledge and care helped me deliver a big baby without needing an episiotomy. The exercises and techniques she provided were invaluable, making my vaginal delivery smoother and less traumatic than I could have imagined. Even the nurses and midwives were impressed that I didn't have a third degree tear. Her coaching helped me so much.
Postpartum, she continued to be an amazing resource, helping me heal and rebuild strength while focusing on my pelvic floor health. Her approach is compassionate, thorough, and incredibly effective. If you’re pregnant or recovering postpartum, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her. She made such a difference in my journey to motherhood, and I couldn’t be more grateful!Sunday 5th January 2025
Laura Machado5 StarKate was able to give a more thorough assessment of the state of my prolapse and pelvic floor than any obgyn I have ever seen, and was able to work with me to get back to lifting the weights I wanted to lift.Monday 3rd February 2025
Cat Gieser5 StarAs a birth doula and perinatal movement specialist, Kate has been one of the most valuable resources for my pregnant and postpartum clients. I refer so many of them to Kate to help address issues like pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and hip/back pain. Kate also works with many of my doula clients on connecting with pelvic floor lengthening in various positions in preparation for labor and birth. I find that clients who are able to work with Kate are much more effective with pushing even if an epidural is used. Kate has so much expertise when it comes to pelvic health and I love having a collaborative partner like Kate, who I can trust and work together with to support clients in the most holistic and integrative way. I can't recommend Kate enough for anyone who is in need of a pelvic floor therapist. She is truly amazing!Wednesday 5th June 2024
Melanie Evangelista5 StarKate was an amazing physical therapist and the key to my postpartum recovery! After the birth of my baby I was having EXCRUCIATING back pain. I went to my OB, the ER, and to other different specialists but no one could figure out what was wrong with me! It wasn't until I went to Kate & she said "I think its your ribs." And she was right! It's because of her assessments & care that I was able to get off of my narcotics & recover safely postpartum. I will forever be grateful for help & would definitely recommend her to anyone! She's amazing!Thursday 28th September 2023
Karen & Elodie Fechino-Toepp5 StarKate is an excellent physical therapist! After the birth of my second baby, I had pain everywhere (back, neck, shoulders, arms and some diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues). My midwives recommended Kate, and I'm so glad that she's been my physical therapist! I've been seeing her for a few months and my pain has decreased, and I feel stronger. Kate is always empathetic, professional and very knowledgeable. (I wish I would've worked with her while I was pregnant too!) Also, her office is in a good location, and it's nice to have physical therapy in a private room.Friday 7th July 2023
